Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku Party ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application available on Google Play.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Sudoku Party is a puzzle game designed to be fun and safe. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the app and improve your experience.
We do not sell your personal data to any third parties, ever.
Data we collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following categories of information:
Automatically collected data
- Device information (model, operating system version, language setting)
- App usage statistics (session duration, features used, puzzle completion rates)
- Crash reports and diagnostic data to fix bugs
- Approximate location (country/region, derived from IP address)
Data you provide voluntarily
- Username or display name (if you create a profile or join multiplayer)
- Game progress and scores synced to our servers
- In-app purchase records (processed by Google Play — we do not store payment details)
We do not collect your precise GPS location, camera, microphone, or contacts.
How we use data
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
- Running and maintaining the game features
- Saving your progress, scores, and preferences
- Diagnosing crashes and improving app stability
- Analyzing aggregated and anonymized usage data to develop new features — this analysis is fully de-personalized and cannot be linked back to any individual user
- Showing contextual advertising (if applicable), via certified ad partners
- Complying with legal obligations
Third-party services updated
The app integrates the following third-party SDKs. Each has its own privacy policy:
- AppMetrica (Yandex) — mobile analytics, crash reporting, and user behavior analysis. AppMetrica collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve its performance. See Yandex Privacy Policy.
- AppsFlyer — mobile attribution and marketing analytics. AppsFlyer helps us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns by tracking app installs and in-app events. It does not share individual user data with advertisers. See AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.
- Facebook SDK (Meta) — app event tracking and advertising measurement. The Facebook SDK allows us to measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences on Meta platforms. Data is processed in accordance with Meta's data use policy. See Meta Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers. Their data processing is subject to their own terms.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share limited data only in these circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate the app (bound by confidentiality agreements)
- When required by law, court order, or government authority
- In connection with a merger or acquisition (users will be notified in advance)
Data storage & security
Your game progress, scores, and account data are stored on our own secure servers. This allows your progress to be seamlessly available across devices and to be restored if you reinstall the app.
Our servers are protected by industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. We do not store payment information — all purchases are handled entirely by Google Play.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we apply best practices to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see section 8).
Children's privacy
Sudoku Party is suitable for all ages, including children under 13.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address in section 10.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice or update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of Sudoku Party after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
